Making a Donation

With the exception of a grant received from the Casino Reinvestment and Development Authority and a financial commitment from the City of Atlantic City, the Bernie Friedenberg World War II Memorial will be funded with private donations. A not-for-profit corporation, “Bernie Friedenberg World War II Memorial Fund” has been set up to receive donations for the memorial.

We need your support to bring the Bernie Friedenberg World War II Memorial to life. Although we have raised $800,000 for the Memorial, $200,000 is still required to complete the Memorial as envisioned, to members of the Greatest Generation. All donations to the Bernie Friedenberg World War II Memorial Fund are tax deductible, as this corporation has been certified by the IRS as a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) corporation.
